Craftsy dad Joel

Most of the craft blogs for DIY children’s goodies are by creative mums. But Joel proves that dads can come up with nice crafts ideas as well.

Stay at home dad Joel is an artist who loves to create toys for his 3yo twins. He built them a playhouse and has painted a complete wall with chalk board paint.

On his blog he shares tips like always finish up a project before you start a new one. His favorite book for inspration is Making Things by Ann Wiseman.

But his blog also has a lot of nice tutorials. I really really love this owl mobile. Looks easy to make and is really adorable. The paper city print outs are also a very clever idea of this dad. Ideal for kids to play with for example in a restaurant.

Joel even has its own book. Too bad I am way too old to play with selfmade finger puppets.
